Hold Command(⌘) + click to add or delete points.

Hold Shift to lock control point drag.

If last and first point co-ordinates are matched, you can hold Alt + click on either control point to mirror align them.

Once a shape is saved, you will no longer be able close path, add or delete points.

You will need 2 or more keyframes in order to animate shape morph.
